How to use these sheets
- 1. Print one per game. Use 100% scale rather than “fit to page” so the rows keep their spacing. Landscape orientation.
- 2. Fill the roster before game day. Numbers and names in the left columns, at the kitchen table — not in the parking lot ten minutes before kickoff.
- 3. Plan the periods, then coach. Work across the row for each player so you can see at a glance who still needs snaps, minutes, innings, or sets.
- 4. Keep it as your record. A completed sheet is the simplest answer to “did my kid play enough?” — a page you can hand to a parent or league official.
Questions
▸Are these lineup sheets really free?
Yes. Every sheet is a free PDF download with no signup, no email required, and no watermark beyond our name in the header. Print as many copies as you need, including for your whole coaching staff or league.
▸What paper size do these print on?
All four sheets are one page, US Letter, landscape orientation. Print at 100% scale (not 'fit to page') for the truest line spacing. They also print acceptably on A4 if you allow your printer to scale slightly.
▸Can I use these for my league or hand them to other coaches?
Please do — that's what they're for. You're welcome to print and share them with your team, coaching staff, or league. If you post them online, a link back to lineupmax.com is appreciated so other coaches can find the originals.
▸What if I'd rather not fill them in by hand?
Each sport also has a free web app that does the tracking for you — it counts snaps, minutes, innings, or sets automatically, auto-fills lineups fairly, and prints a completed game card. The printable sheet and the app use the same layout, so you can move between them.
Prefer the board to do the counting?
The same layouts exist as free web apps that track playing time for you, auto-fill lineups fairly, and print a completed game card. No account needed.
