Terms of Service

Effective August 29, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LineUp Max — the website at lineupmax.com and the LineUp Max apps Huddleboard, Pitchboard, Dugoutboard, and Rallyboard (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

The short version:LineUp Max is a free planning tool (with an optional paid Pro plan) that helps coaches organize lineups and track playing time. It’s a helper, not an official rule-keeper — you’re responsible for following your own league’s rules. Use it fairly, and it’s provided “as is.”

1. Who can use LineUp Max

The Service is intended for coaches and other adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or purchase Pro. The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for children to use to create accounts. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle roster information that may include youth players.

2. The Service

LineUp Max helps you build lineups and rotations and track playing time across football, soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball. The core apps are free to use without an account. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may limit or discontinue parts of the Service; we’ll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

3. Important: league rules are your responsibility

LineUp Max includes information about playing-time rules (such as mandatory play, substitution limits, and minimum-play requirements) and tools to help you plan around them. This information is provided for general guidance only and may not reflect the current, exact rules of your specific league, division, or governing body.Rules change and vary widely. You are solely responsible for knowing and following your league’s official rules. LineUp Max does not guarantee compliance with any league’s requirements, and is not responsible for penalties, disputes, or other consequences arising from how you run your team. Always confirm against your league’s current rulebook.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us.

5. Pro subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Pricing. Pro is offered as a monthly or annual subscription at the prices shown at checkout. One Pro subscription covers all four boards.

Billing & auto-renewal. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) using your payment method on file, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again after that. To cancel or manage billing, contact us at [email protected].

Refunds.Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including partial subscription periods. If something went wrong, email us — we’ll try to make it right.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods, and we’ll give notice before a change affects you. Your continued subscription after a price change means you accept the new price.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; upload malicious code; misuse others’ personal information; or use the Service to harass or harm anyone. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the lineups, rosters, and other content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to store and sync Your Content if you enable Pro cloud sync. You’re responsible for having the right to enter any personal information you include (such as players’ names), and for using it appropriately.

8. Our intellectual property

LineUp Max, its logos, software, design, and content (other than Your Content) belong to us and are protected by law. These Terms don’t transfer any of our intellectual property to you; you get a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Service under these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments) and Supabase (accounts and storage), and links to other sites. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies, and we’re not responsible for third-party services we don’t control.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information (including rules guidance) is accurate or current. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LineUp Max and its makers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities, or league penalties, arising from your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LineUp Max and its makers from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the “Effective” date above, and for significant changes we’ll provide a clearer notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
